Configuring your Firebase projectYour Firebase project is where the SlackVault archive actually lives, which is the reason there is no subscription to pay. You create the project, enable Firestore, and paste the web config into SlackVault so the extension knows where to write. Everything after that counts against your own Google quota, so it is worth understanding the free-tier limits before syncing a large workspace.What SlackVault does not do

Firebase free-tier reads, writes and storage are finite. A large or heavily synced workspace can exhaust them.

The Firebase web config is client-side by design and is not a secret, but your project is still yours to secure with rules.

SlackVault cannot back up or restore your Firebase project for you.
